Warranty Policy

Effective Date: March 10, 2026
Warranty Summary

Where a warranty is offered, Paper Hubs may provide limited coverage for eligible functional issues during the stated warranty period. Warranty coverage does not apply to cosmetic wear, customer-caused damage, misuse, or issues outside normal intended use. For warranty support, contact info@paperhubs.com.

1. Introduction

This Warranty Policy explains how warranty support is handled for products sold by Paper Hubs. Because Paper Hubs focuses on refurbished and pre-owned printers, warranty terms may differ from those commonly associated with brand-new retail products.

By purchasing from Paper Hubs, you agree to this Warranty Policy along with our other website policies and terms.

2. Nature of Products Covered

Paper Hubs primarily sells refurbished, renewed, and pre-owned printers. Because these products are not necessarily new, customers should understand that coverage may be limited or vary by product. Some items may not include any warranty unless explicitly stated on the product listing.

3. Standard Warranty Coverage

Where applicable, Paper Hubs may offer a limited warranty period of 30 days from the date of delivery, unless a different period is clearly stated on the product page.

Important: If no warranty is expressly mentioned on the product page, customers should not assume that warranty coverage is included.
Note: Warranty coverage, if offered, will be stated on the product page. If no warranty is mentioned, please do not assume warranty coverage is included.

4. What the Warranty Covers

If a product is sold with a Paper Hubs warranty, it covers verified issues related to basic functional operation during normal intended use, including:

  • Functional defects appearing during the warranty period
  • Verified non-working issues not caused by customer misuse
  • Material operational failure during normal intended usage

5. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Unless otherwise stated, the warranty generally does not apply to:

  • Cosmetic wear, scratches, or appearance issues consistent with refurbished condition
  • Damage from drops, liquid exposure, power surges, or improper storage
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, tampering, or disassembly
  • Software/driver issues or compatibility concerns
  • Consumable items (cartridges, paper trays, etc.) unless stated

6. Product Condition Expectations

Warranty coverage addresses functional issues, not aesthetic perfection. Refurbished products may have minor cosmetic imperfections, non-original packaging, and varied included accessories.

7. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To start a claim, email info@paperhubs.com with your order number, product name, date of delivery, a clear description of the issue, and photos or videos showing the problem.

8. Review Process & 9. Troubleshooting

Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Before a return is authorized, we may ask you to complete basic troubleshooting steps, such as checking power connections or verifying cable attachments, to rule out setup errors.

9. Return for Warranty Inspection

If inspection is required, the product must be returned securely with all identifying information intact. Customers should not send products back without prior authorization and instructions.

10. Resolution Options Under Warranty

If approved, Paper Hubs may, at its discretion, offer: repair of the product, replacement (subject to inventory), a similar alternative product, store credit, or a refund.

11. Shipping Costs

For approved claims, Paper Hubs may cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs. If the issue is found not to be covered under warranty, all shipping charges remain the customer's responsibility.

12. Time Limit for Claims

All claims must be submitted within the stated warranty period (from delivery date). Claims submitted after expiration will not be eligible for review.

13. Warranty Void Conditions

Coverage is voided by physical abuse, liquid exposure, internal tampering, unauthorized repair attempts, or removal of serial numbers.

14. No Manufacturer Warranty Assumed

Unless explicitly stated, any warranty provided is a seller warranty only. Paper Hubs is an independent seller and is not affiliated with printer manufacturers.

15. Limitation of Warranty Scope

Warranty support is limited to the specific product sold and does not extend to business interruption, loss of data, loss of profits, or third-party service expenses.

16. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are expected to inspect products upon delivery, use them reasonably, and report issues promptly without attempting unauthorized internal repairs.

17. Relationship with Return Policy

A return request (initial post-delivery) and a warranty claim (functional failure during the term) are different. Please review both policies together.

18. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes take effect once posted on the website.
